Created a full-featured (AP, AR, GL, PR, IN) accounting system for small business and turned it into a for-profit business. Brought the computer age into the targeted portion of the small-business sector. These mom-and-pop companies had never had a computer before.

With features like full-screen display (this was done before graphical interfaces were practical), menu-driven navigation, customizable screens and pre-database automatic sort on input, these microcomputer-based systems handled not only the day-to-day business operations, but the accounting and tax functions needed for the fiscal side of the business.

These systems were some of the earliest to completely eliminate ’batch’ processing from business operations lexicon, giving management the information needed to make decisions immediately. This extended to the general ledger, allowing a ledger balance sheet or profit and loss statement to be generated any time during a month.
